Dino Mike

New Jersey's Fossil Guy

A Passion 65 Million Years in the Making

From the moment Michael could read, he was more interested in what was buried beneath his feet than anything above ground. As a young boy growing up in New Jersey, he was completely captivated by dinosaurs — devouring every book, documentary, and museum exhibit he could find. He was the kind of kid who was teaching his grandfather how to spell Tyrannosaurus Rex before he even started kindergarten.

That childhood obsession never faded — it evolved. Over the years, Michael dove deep into paleontology, geology, and natural history, building a hands-on collection of real fossils, casts, and prehistoric specimens that most kids only ever see behind museum glass. He didn't just want to learn about dinosaurs. He wanted to share them.

Today, Dino Mike brings that same wide-eyed wonder directly to schools, camps, birthday parties, and events across New Jersey. Every presentation is packed with real fossils you can touch, stories that bring prehistoric life to the surface, and the kind of infectious enthusiasm that only comes from someone who genuinely never stopped being amazed.

Michael's mission is simple: inspire the next generation of curious minds the same way he was inspired. Because somewhere in every classroom, there's a kid who just needs one spark — one Spinosaurus tooth, one trilobite, one moment of "wait, that's REAL?" — to fall in love with science for life.
